Alice Madness Lingerie?!? by achromatically Alice Madness Lingerie?!? by achromatically
YES! YES INDEED!

Everyone's been loving the Alice artwork so much, but I'm kinda getting sick of drawing her dress to be honest... So much shading! Therefore I thought I'd try something new, so here you go! I think I'm going to take a little-bitty break from drawing Alice, but don't worry, she'll be back very soon :) .

Hey, buddy I have a Little question. What do you think about . . . an idea where famous fairytale and fabled characters are in combat? Out of the fighting games and ideas I have never seen one about that. I have been busy creating multiple sketches for the characters stances, designs, and even Little ideas for the arenas. I'd imagine the idea to be pretty mature and a bit gothic with all their original stories as read in the books, but at the momento I am stuck with a design for Alice. I was using Mc. Gee's versión of her as the royal blue knight but it came out rather bulcky. Now, I am working on a type of armored dress for her. I'd imagine her arena to be a large cráter on the red queen's castle as the background; a the train hovering down with a thunderous whistle surrounded by floating teapots, islands and monsters watching the fight. What do you think of such an idea and what would you re commend?

That sound totally badass! You mentioned having Alice wearing armor, and the first thing that came to mind was this:

I don't know if that helps your design or not, but it might come in handy. Just be open minded when coming up with her design, it's open for interpretation. For example, McGee's game had the vorpal blade be just a large knife, while the 2nd Disney movie with Johny Depp (A movie I didn't particularly like) had the vorpal blade be like an actual sword. Another image that might help you is this one:

I think that arena sound epic as well, but I do have a couple other suggestions. If you wanted to do something more closely related to the traditional Alice in Wonderland book or Disney movie, you could have the arena be a huge table with teapots and whatnot, surrounded by the characters of the book looking on. If you wanted a more dark and gothic feel you could just change their appearance greatly, kinda make it you own thing. The other idea I had was more Alice: Madness Returns based - I think it would be sweet if you had the setting be inside Alice's burning house, with all of the 'real life' characters looking on (like her family, Bumby, the doctors, Jack Splatter, etc). You could even still add in the train floating above. My last idea would be to just have an arena based on the asylum, with the bloody walls and all just like in the game, kind of as a symbol of her battle for her sanity. All being said though I still like your idea a lot.

Anyway, I hope that helps and good luck!

I like your ideas, but the enviroment with her house would seem too symetrical compared to the designs I've been working on. The ahsylum sounds about right, though. I saw the tumbler image and Alice's armor is way too bulky and wide. Seems like a teapot woman, but hey, it can help. The home burning might be manipulated for a background enviroment mixed with a Londerland feel and I thank you for your suggestions. Keep drawing the mad maiden and I'll try to keep up!
